Yes. SRM IST ODL programmes are recognised by the UGC. You can refer to the UGC website for further information. Moreover SRM IST is a Category I institution and is approved for graded autonomy by the MHRD.

All the distance education programmes offered by recognised HEIs are considered equivalent to the regular programmes as per UGC’s PUBLIC NOTICE – F.No.1-9/2018 (DEB-I) dated 23rd February 2018

Online payment of tuition fee through payment gateway is allowed.

The candidate can visit SRM IST website and click Admission and then Admission India. Then choose the option “distance education”. From that, you will be guided through the application process and after providing the basic data you can click “pay application fee” and can upload the documents called for. You will get communication from the SRM IST if you are found to be eligible and then tuition can be paid

Yes. If students are not familiar with online payment, they are permitted to pay the tuition fee by way of demand draft.

No. As per UGC guidelines, the original certificates will not remain with SRM IST. But original certificates need to be submitted if called for verification.
